What MovieTalk is

MovieTalk helps people who speak different languages become friends. You can chat with people you both accepted, with automatic translation, and video call with translated subtitles.

Who can join

• You must be 18 or older.
• One person, one account, verified with your own phone number.
• Your profile must show you, as you are now.

What isn’t allowed

• harassment, threats or rude messages
• sexual content the other person didn’t ask for, and any sexual content during calls without clear consent
• anything involving people under 18
• asking for money, loans, gifts or investments, or promoting crypto or trading schemes
• fake profiles, pretending to be someone else or using someone else’s photos
• hate or discrimination based on nationality, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability
• recording, screenshotting or sharing calls or chats without the other person’s permission
• advertising, spam or moving people to other services for business
• anything illegal in Korea, Thailand or where you are

Translation can be wrong

Translations and subtitles are made automatically and can be inaccurate. Use Show original when something matters, and don’t rely on a translation for important decisions.

Subtitle time and purchases

New accounts start with 5 minutes of subtitle time. You can add more through the App Store or Google Play. Calls without subtitles are not charged.

Purchases and refunds follow the store’s rules. Remaining subtitle time can’t be transferred or exchanged for money and is lost when you delete your account. Prices: to be confirmed.

Reports and actions

We review reports within 24 hours. If you break these terms we may warn you, pause your account or remove it permanently. Serious cases may be reported to the police.

Your content

You own the photos and words you share. You let MovieTalk store, show, translate and review them only to run the service. Don’t share content you don’t have the right to share.

Changes to the service

We may change or stop features. If a change affects subtitle time you have bought, we will tell you in advance.

Limits of our responsibility

MovieTalk introduces people but can’t guarantee how others behave, online or in person. Our responsibility is limited as far as the law allows. To be confirmed.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Me → Settings → Delete account.
